Since I’ve already filled out my application for the Sports Journalism program I wanted to take, I guess it’s time to look into the application for Teacher’s College.

God damn! That’s expensive! Oh well. Looks like I’ll have some homework to do for the first time in nearly 8 months. Let the good times roll!
So, I just applied to college. Not the colleges I expected to a year ago at this point. Because I absentmindedly missed the cut-off date for Teacher’s College, I was looking into options for next year. The main one was to focus on work and volunteering for a year, and have a great application next year.
Instead, my friend Samantha Kleban found some Sports Journalism courses at Ontario colleges before she went to work in India for four months. So, I’m rolling the dice and applying. It’s always been a dream of mine to become a sports journalist. Something about immersing myself in one of my passions is very appealing. While I’ve never really done any proper practice or experience for this, I’ve made joke posts… especially regarding my NHL video games.
Anyways, if I don’t get accepted, it’s not a big deal. I can still go about my plan of work and volunteering. So, I’m nervous about this now. Granted, it’s out of my hands, but it won’t be out of mind.
